FEZA is a Congolese-Canadian multidisciplinary artist whose work includes photography, film, visual collages and sound art. Whether it is through art or community organizing, Feza’s work is a meditation on the daily experiences of Africans within the Canadian context, exploring experiences of migration, memory and kinship. They draw inspiration from her Congolese heritage, incorporating archival material such as photographs, video and audio sources. Their workshops allows for community somatic approaches to social issues. They are co-creators of a youth collective, Pass The Vibes, offering a space Black Queer artists to explore various art practices.
