Programming architect

Marie-Ange is your local Rwandese-Canadian gal spinning tracks and is passionate about all things communications and art. With more than six years in book retail and communications, she’s deeply invested in QTBIPOC stories + storytelling by using books, poetry + prose and now music to share their visions, feelings and creations with their community. She was introduced to DJing as an art form through Pass the Vibes, attending workshops and open decks. Now having the privilege of joining the team as Programming Director, she hopes to spread that same joy she experienced with local youth through her involvement in programming.

Her favourite art mediums include (film) photography, poetry, painting, digital collage making and of course, DJing and music. She’s always happy to share book recs, music recs or have a photo walk.

A recent graduate with honours, she holds a Diploma in Public Relations from Algonquin College and has pursued a Bachelor’s in Political Science at the University of Ottawa.
